Musclecar Power Magazine

Musclecar Power is a new magazine being published by Tom Shaw. Let me tell you, Tom has put together an amazing package. If you like musclecars, you owe it to yourself to take a look Tom's latest project!

This isn't a one brand magazine, it covers all manufacturers equally well. The larger-than-typical page size, slick paper, in-depth features and excellent photos make this one special. There is plenty of drag racing coverage of the cars, also.

From the history of the Yenko Camaros to a THREE page color poster of Jerry Hubble's 1970 Charger R/T, this magazine has something for everyone. A sixteen page feature on musclecar pure stock drag racing that reports on numerous drag strip match-ups of the exotic (and not so exotic) cars that you couldn't get your hands on when they were new is one of my favorite articles.

Other feature articles include a 1967 GTO, a 1971 Olds 4-4-2 W-30 drag test, a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, a 1969 Yenko Camaro, a 1969 Boss 429 Mustang, Linda Vaughn's GTO Follies, The Making of a Reproduction Part, Battery Lite, New Parts, Letters, and Fabulous Finds. These articles are not short reports, they are in-depth, informative, and feature many high quality color photos. One thing that impressed me was the division of the help articles. You can have your questions answered in any of the three sections: GM Q&A, MOPAR Q&A, or FORD Q&A. No need to read something that you don't have any interest in!

All in all, this first rate magazine is almost too nice to leave lying around. You'll probably want to put it in a protector! I guess if I had to list one gripe about the magazine, it would be that I wouldn't have the heart to remove the three page centerfold poster! I usually stay away from recommending magazines, but this one is a winner! Check out the Musclecar Power today.
