Comment		Tommy Smith's Dodge Demon. This photo was taken at the Atlanta $10,000 race in October, 1970 at the Atlanta Speed Shop Dragway, in Covington, Georgia. This car burned to the ground at this race. Tommy was matched against Bobby Wood (Chevy II) in the last pass for the Demon. Tommy was burned in this fire, and (as far as I know), this ended his drag racing career. -- David Dilbeck. (See photo GDR-00003 for just before the fire.)
